Seller and vehicle documents

Before the transaction, the seller's identity or legal details, the vehicle registration document, the VIN and the right to dispose of the vehicle are verified. If an agent acts on behalf of the seller, notarized powers of attorney are required.

Vehicle data must match across all documents: make, model, year, VIN and owner information. Any discrepancy must be resolved before payment.

Contract, invoice and proof of payment

An invoice or contract records the parties, the subject, the price, the currency and the terms of transfer. Proof of payment is kept together with correspondence confirming the agreed payment details.

For auctions the package is supplemented with proof of winning, the platform invoice, details of fees and the lot release documents.

UAE export documents

After purchase, applicable documents terminating local registration and authorizing export are issued. The name and procedure depend on the emirate, the vehicle’s status and the method of removal.

Before loading it is checked that the vehicle is permitted for export, mandatory fees are paid, and the VIN in the export document matches the vehicle.

Transport documents

The carrier issues a bill of lading or other transport document showing the shipper, consignee, route, cargo description and vehicle identification. The draft should be checked before the original is released.

Also retained are the acceptance report, condition photos, the insurance policy if available and terminal invoices. These materials help with release or with settling damage claims.

Documents for the destination country

For customs clearance you typically need proof of purchase and value, export and transport documents, consignee information and any additional certificates required by local rules.

What the client receives

The client receives an agreed set of electronic copies and originals where required. A checklist of documents is prepared before dispatch, and the delivery address and method are confirmed.
