What expenses are included in the final cost
The full budget consists of the car price, inspection, service provider's fee, internal logistics within the UAE, export documents, international transportation and expenses in the destination country. For auctions, platform fees, possible storage and repairs are added.
The estimate must show each line separately. The term "turnkey" is useful only when it specifies the final city, included services and expenses that the client pays independently.
- Vehicle purchase and marketplace commission
- Inspection, documentation and transportation within the UAE
- Freight, insurance and port services
- Customs and registration expenses at the destination
Vehicle purchase and inspection
The cost of a car depends on origin, specification, year, mileage, history and condition. Two outwardly identical cars can have different economic implications due to repairs or pending maintenance.
Before payment, an inspection is required including VIN verification, diagnostics, paint-thickness measurement, safety systems check and testing of major assemblies. Saving on inspection is not comparable to the cost of a hidden defect in the engine, transmission or body.
Export and delivery
After purchase the car is deregistered or processed for export, delivered to the terminal, transport documents are prepared and handed to the carrier. The route is selected based on the destination country and city, timing, number of transshipments and transport format.
The lowest freight rate does not always mean the best total price. You must take into account port fees, demurrage, cargo release/handling, transshipments and the overland leg to the final city.
Indicative budget examples
For a car costing around $30 000 the share of logistics and fixed services is usually more noticeable than for a more expensive model. In the approximately $50 000 category the choice of route and specifications has a greater effect on the outcome. For a car around $100 000, insurance, a secure transport scheme and proof of funds are particularly important.
These are not rates and not a public offer. For each budget we produce a preliminary estimate after clarifying the country, city, model, engine and purchase method.
- $30 000 — fixed fees and a reserve are especially important
- $50 000 — we compare several routes and specifications
- $100 000 — increase controls on documentation, insurance and transportation
Expenses in the destination country
Duties, taxes, disposal or registration fees depend on the country, the vehicle's age, engine, value and current regulations. These parameters can change, so they cannot be fixed as a single figure for all cases.
Before the transaction the estimate is confirmed according to current requirements of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan or another country. The client sees in advance which payments are included in our service and which are paid to government authorities, a broker or the terminal.
How to get a fair estimate
Provide the country and city of receipt, the overall budget, desired models, acceptable model year and engine type. We will compare the market, logistics and approximate mandatory payments.
The final estimate appears after selecting a specific VIN and confirming the route. Until then all amounts are marked as preliminary, and currency risk and possible tariff changes are indicated separately.
